Ever wonder why so many people choose Midjourney?
With all the various AI image generators out there why do so many people choose Midjourney? Midjourney has been my go-to for a long time so in all fairness I decided to do some comparisons. In this video I compare Midjourney with Creative Fabrica’s Spark and Adobe Firefly inputting a variety of basic image prompts that might be used to create social media post for fun, business or both!

Not all AI Image Generators are created equal
While the differences in image output between AI image generators has a huge swing, It seems to me that most every AI image generator has some redeeming features. For instance the images that Spark makes are, to me, typically less engaging, more random, lower quality images. That said, Spark makes some great kids clipart and other simple images for when you need a simple spark of color or design. (duh, do you suppose that’s where it got it’s name?)
Although it does not produce as a high a quality image as Midjourney, Firefly is, in my opinion, outputting much better images than Spark although it really depends on the type of image you need for the project and content at hand.
Like anything else, creating with ai takes training, practice and time (not to mention a healthy dose of patience) to get to the place where you can consistently turn out image that you can be proud of.
And even then, there will be times when AI will simply start hallucinating. You laugh now. Just wait!
